If you want to ensure the future of coffee and ride the 4th coffee revolution, you are at the right place What we are looking for ProductionengineerPlanttissueculture (Permanent position; CDI) We are seeking a productionengineer to join our â??Production teamâ? to plan, organize and supervise all plant material production activities, and optimize our production pipeline in terms of protocols and organizational processes.
The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of plant biotechnology and the ability to independently plan, track, report, troubleshoot and optimize operations to ensure timely high-quality deliverables.
This position reports directly to our CTO and will closely collaborate with the â??Tissueculture teamâ? and the â??Plant Genomics teamâ?.
Responsibilities â? Plan, manage, and guarantee the quantity and quality of plant material for in vitro and ex vitro culture â? Ensure excellent reporting of protocols, processes and schedules â? Be responsible for training technicians and ensuring compliance with processes â? Be proactive in organizing and improving the plant material tracking system â? Transfer existing processes to new species Qualifications and key skills â? MSc with significant production experience, in plant science or plant biotechnology â? Proven experience (5 years) in plant material production management, particularly in i n vitro â? In-depth knowledge of Somatic Embryogenesis, ideally on coffee or other woody plants is a strong plus â? Experience in implementing bioreactors for plant cell culture is a plus â? Management and supervision experience are nice to have â? Excellent organization, communication & problem-solving skills â?
